For state legislative races: enough traffic to matter, not enough staff to work it manually
State house and state senate campaigns, and the caucus committees that support them.
What actually hurts
You have real traffic and no way to work it
Between paid ads and local press you are getting thousands of visits a month, and the only people you can name are the ones who filled out a form.
The team is three people and a scheduler
Nobody has time to export, dedupe and re-import. Anything that requires a weekly manual process will stop happening by August.
The caucus has opinions about your data
You are expected to feed the party database, keep records clean, and not create a compliance problem that lands on the caucus.
Automate the handoff, not the judgment
The point at this level is that no human should be moving records between systems. Configure routing once — donate-page intent to the party database with an activist code, volunteer intent to the email tool with a tag, high-value records to Slack — and then spend your staff time on the calls, not the spreadsheets.
The party database question
If your caucus expects records in NGP VAN or i360, read those integration pages first. NGP VAN production keys have to be requested by you, the client, from inside VAN — a vendor cannot request one on your behalf, so start that request early. i360 does not publish open integration documentation at all, which means CSV export is the honest path today. We would rather you know that in June than discover it in October.
The texting question, asked early
State legislative campaigns text heavily. Get your consent language right before the traffic arrives, not after. TCPA & texting covers what your consent record has to carry, and why a phone number on a supporter record is not by itself permission to send an automated message.
Integrations that matter to you
All integrations →NGP VAN / EveryAction
The dominant Democratic and progressive campaign database — if your organizers live anywhere, they live here.
CRM & voter contact
i360i360
Anchors the Republican data lane the way NGP VAN anchors the Democratic one.
CRM & voter contact
ActBlueActBlue
Turns 'this person read the donate page' into 'this person read the donate page and has given twice before' — the single most useful enrichment on the Democratic side.
Fundraising & payments
WinRedWinRed
The GOP donation rail, and bundler_id is an official, supported attribution parameter — not a hack.
Fundraising & payments
TatangoTatango
Heavy political and nonprofit use, and strict about opt-in — which is exactly why a real consent record is the thing that makes a list usable here.
Email & SMS
HubSpotHubSpot
The CRM most consultants and advocacy shops already run alongside a political database — often the reporting layer leadership actually looks at.

Start with these use cases
- Stop wasting ad spend
Ad algorithms optimize toward the conversions you feed them. Most campaigns feed them a trickle of form fills. Ballot Signal sends a consented, server-side supporter conversion instead.
- GOTV: the final 60 days
In the closing stretch, traffic spikes and attention is finite. Ballot Signal turns the surge of consented visitors into named supporters your GOTV program can actually work.
Your pricing tier
State legislative
Mid-tier pricing, quoted per campaign at the same commercially reasonable rate offered to every similarly-situated state legislative campaign.
The integration layer
Works with your stack
53 platforms across eight categories, each carrying an honest status label — including the ones that say "coming soon" and "partner-only."
Text wordmarks only — we do not display partner logos without written permission, and a badge here never implies an endorsement or a native connector. The status on each partner page is the claim; this wall is just the map. Not seeing yours? Request an integration.
