Website builders & CMS integrations
Where the tag goes. One snippet, or a native plugin.
Ballot Signal is a script on your own website. If your platform allows a header snippet, you can install it in a few minutes. Where the platform has a real plugin ecosystem — WordPress first — we ship a native integration that reads the platform's own consent state rather than asking you to wire it yourself.
Framer
Fast-growing choice for modern campaign landing pages and launch sites.
Squarespace
Common for first-time and local candidate sites built by a volunteer over a weekend.
Webflow
The default for agency-built campaign sites that want design control without a CMS to maintain.
Wix
A large share of small-business and first-run candidate sites, especially where a family member built it.
WordPress
WordPress powers roughly 41% of all websites per W3Techs — a share that has been declining from its mid-2025 peak, but still by far the largest single install target. There is no credible public data on CMS share among political campaign sites specifically, so we prioritize on that directional evidence rather than a made-up number.
CampaignPartner
Long-running campaign website provider with a substantial down-ballot install base.
Online Candidate
One of the lowest-cost purpose-built campaign website platforms — a real slice of down-ballot campaigns.
PoliEngine
Purpose-built campaign sites with compliance-aware defaults — a natural fit for a consent-first layer.
WebPolitico
Campaign-specific web platform used across state and local races.
Common field mapping
Site → embed. The snippet reads your consent management platform's state, stays inert until consent is granted, and then reports page-intent signals against the consented visitor.
See the full supporter record →Other categories
CRM & voter contact
Your campaign's system of record — where every supporter eventually lands.
Fundraising & payments
Match giving history to the visitor who never filled out the form.
Email & SMS
The channels that live or die on a defensible consent record.
Consent & privacy
Signals we consume, never signals we override.
Automation
The universal escape hatch — webhook, Zapier, CSV.
Voter data
Honest about what we do not have yet.
Ads & analytics
Server-side conversion signal — for consented supporters only.
Website builders & CMS: questions
Does the script slow down our site?
The loader is small and deferred, and it does nothing at all before consent. On a denied or undecided visitor, the only cost is the loader itself.
What if our builder does not allow custom code?
Then Ballot Signal cannot run on it, and we will tell you that instead of selling you a plan you cannot install. Some entry-tier plans on hosted builders block header scripts; check your plan before you buy.
Can we install on a subdomain-only donate page?
Yes, and you should install on every property you want signal from. Consent state does not travel across domains, so each domain reads its own consent and produces its own records.
