Where the tag goes. One snippet, or a native plugin.

Ballot Signal is a script on your own website. If your platform allows a header snippet, you can install it in a few minutes. Where the platform has a real plugin ecosystem — WordPress first — we ship a native integration that reads the platform's own consent state rather than asking you to wire it yourself.

Site → embed. The snippet reads your consent management platform's state, stays inert until consent is granted, and then reports page-intent signals against the consented visitor.

Website builders & CMS: questions

Does the script slow down our site?

The loader is small and deferred, and it does nothing at all before consent. On a denied or undecided visitor, the only cost is the loader itself.

What if our builder does not allow custom code?

Then Ballot Signal cannot run on it, and we will tell you that instead of selling you a plan you cannot install. Some entry-tier plans on hosted builders block header scripts; check your plan before you buy.

Can we install on a subdomain-only donate page?

Yes, and you should install on every property you want signal from. Consent state does not travel across domains, so each domain reads its own consent and produces its own records.
